Welcome, for over 25 years Foxboro Cable Access (FCA) has provided an opportunity for Foxboro residents to produce local television programs for the Foxborough community. Our non-profit corporation is responsible for three cable TV channels on Comcast cable in Foxborough. Interested residents are encouraged to contact us to learn more about how you can get involved. FCA volunteers produce many different types of programs, including: Church Services, Local Sports, Community Events, Local Music, Local Talk Shows, Foxborough Historical Society, Public Forums, and Government Meetings.

Brother Blue

The Cambridge icon, Hugh Morgan Hill know as Brother Blue past away on November 3, 2009 at the age of 88. In tribute to his life we would like to share this video documentary which FCA volunteer Michael Everson helped complete in 2006.

"Brother Blue dresses in blue, from his socks to his beret to the butterflies painted on his palms. Brother Blue spends a lot of his time in prisons and on street corners. Why would you want to listen to Brother Blue?

"I think I was anointed to be a storyteller-I mean touched by the fire," says Brother Blue. "I can tell stories in my sleep and blow the world away!"

Community Access Preservation (CAP) Act of 2009

Alliance for Community Media Press Release:
The Alliance for Community Media applauds Wisconsin Congresswoman Tammy Baldwin for introducing the Community Access Preservation (CAP) Act of 2009 (PDF) to address the challenges faced by public, education, and government (PEG) TV channels and community access television stations.

Nationwide, many community access television stations have been forced to shut down or severely limit their operations as a result of a combination of state law changes and FCC decisions, which cable television operators are claiming permit them to eliminate funding and important in-kind support they have traditionally provided to local community access television channels.
