Battleship Cove will host its third annual “Battleship Brewfest” on the fantail of USS Massachusetts on Sunday, October 12, 2014, from 12:30 to 4:30 pm.
Enjoy some of the best regional and national craft beers accompanied by great music from Ryan Connearney.
Local eateries such as Al Mac’s Galley, Battleship Brewhouse, Domino’s Pizza, Duke’s Bakery, Fall River Grill, Jerry Remy’s, St. James Irish Pub, Tap House Grille and Texas Road House will be offering samples of their delicious menus as guests taste a variety of beers from Colonial Beverage.
Beers will include Ipswich, Slumbrew, Backlash, Naukabout, Rapscallion, Notch, Newburyport, Foolproof, Grey Sail, Narragansett, Shipyard, Sea Dog, Baxter, Rising Tide, Belfast Bay, Long Trail, Otter Creek, Wolaver’s, Shed, Boulevard, Leinenkugel, Blue Moon, Batch 19, Third Shift, Innis & Gunn, John Smith’s, Worthington’s, Kalik, Czechvar, Paulaner, Hacker-Pschorr, Hofbrau, Warsteiner, Murphy’s Estrella, Woodchuck, Fatty Bumpkin’s, Bantam, McKenzie’s, Magner’s, etc.
As a bonus, Saber TV of Fall River will be providing a TV for the big game!
“This annual event is a wonderful combination of a good time for a good cause,” said Battleship Cove Executive Director Brad King, who explained that proceeds would go toward funding restoration projects for the vessels at Battleship Cove. Mr. King went on to say, “Last year’s Brewfest was really great. It brought in a new demographic of visitors who haven’t visited the museum in years.”
Tickets are $35 in advance; $40 the day of the event. Ticket price includes 20 beer samplings, 5 oz. souvenir mug, scrumptious food from local restaurants, live music, and admission to all the exhibits at Battleship Cove. This is a rain or shine event. No one under the age of 21 will be admitted.
