FOXBOROUGH, MA – Tonight’s candlelight vigil will be broadcast live on the Public Channel, Comcast 8 / Verizon 39 and online: https://www.fcatv.org/live
From the Foxboro Jaycees Website:
The Foxboro Jaycees invite you to a quiet candlelight memorial to remember those we lost on September 11, 2001.
In the days after the 9/11 attacks, millions of Americans – friends and strangers – gathered together, lit candles, and took a few moments to grieve, to remember, to cry, to think, and to take comfort in being with others.
On the tenth anniversary of the attacks, the Foxboro Jaycees once again invite you to gather again as a community, light a candle, and remember.
Sunday, September 11, 2011
Foxboro Common
6:00pm-8:00pm rain or shine
Free candles, pinwheel and glow sticks will be given out by the Jaycees. Please bring your own candles if you prefer.
Foxboro Cable Access will broadcast and web stream the event live for those unable to attend.
As with our previous memorials, there is no formal program, no speeches, just candlelight, appropriate music, and the names of the 3000 we lost scrolling on the bandstand screen. We hope you can join us, and we hope you will also visit the new September 11 memorial at the Public Safety Building.
where’s the live stream on tv or here??
