A program featuring the recently deceased former Foxboro resident Carol Elledge in two special piano performances will be shown this weekend on the Public Channel (Comcast 8 / Verizon 39). Foxboro Cable Access volunteer Paul Beck has compiled the program, entitled “A Tribute to the Memory of Everard and Carol Elledge,” from two separate recordings made over thirty years ago. In the first performance, Carol plays a one hour solo concert at St. Mark’s Church for the Re-Dedication of the Steinway Grand Piano which was donated to the church by her late husband Everard. In the other performance, she plays Rhapsody in Blue with the Civic Symphony Orchestra of Boston in 1990.
The FCA Program Schedule lists the premiere showing on Friday, November 21st at 9:30 pm, and subsequent showings Saturday and Sunday at 7 pm and Sunday and Monday at 2 am and 11 am. It will also be included in the Video Gallery of the FCA website www.fcatv.org and can be viewed there anytime. For additional information on this programming or to learn more about other FCA activities and training which is offered at no charge to town residents, please contact FCA Executive Director Michael Webber at 508-543-4757.
I think I must be losing it! So looking forward to the Elledge segment but I am reading three different schedules. One on the FCATV web page, another in the Cable listing section in the Reporter, a third in the Elledge story on the About Town page all give different schedules.
