FOXBOROUGH, MA – The Foxboro Jaycees will start of the 2011 Concert on the Common series tonight on the common starting at 7pm. Â All concerts are FREE to the public. Â Once again the Foxborough High School Jazz Ensemble will kick off the concert series.
During the past 24 years, the Foxboro High School Jazz Ensemble established itself as one of the premiere high school jazz bands in New England. The group has received Gold Medals in Massachusetts jazz band festivals for 22 years. Directed by Stephen C. Massey, with the assistant director George Murphy, the group finished first at the University of New Hampshire Jazz Festival for 14 years.
The Jaycees recommend you bring a blanket or chairs and food, or enjoy some candy, soda, water or chips and other goodies from the Jaycee concession stand.
