FOXBORO, MA: Foxboro Cable Access, a local non-profit community television station is proud to announce the launch of a new website design, released earlier this week.
“The site offers a fresh new look, with an updated navigation menu that is more user-friendly than our old site”, says Michael Webber, Executive Director of FCA.  “We’re excited about the integration with Social Media sites such as Twitter and Facebook, which allow vistors to better interact with us.”
The new website design follows a YouTube style community video portal site launch several months ago – http://video.fcatv.org.  On this site residents can easily access Selectmen and School Committee Meetings, as well as, Music and Sports videos.  Foxboro residents are also encouraged to submit their own videos to the site.
The FCA video portal is accessed by 500 unique visitors on average each month.  Meeting replays and short clips from of other community access programming are very popular.  Michael Webber says, “Although we don’t have ratings data, we have certainly found that our strong online presence helps promote our full length programming available on the cable channels.”
Foxboro Cable Access is a 501c3 non-profit organization responsible for operating three PEG channels on the Comcast and Verizon networks in Foxborough. Â Residents are encouraged to participate by calling 508-543-4757 or email FCA at info@fcatv.org
