Pressure from loyal Foxboro Cable Access viewers may have been a factor in Verizon’s quick hookup of FCA to Verizon’s fiberoptic network.

“We’re excited that Verizon FIOS hooked us up so quickly,” FCA executive director Michael Webber said. “The process from FCA’s standpoint was quick and smooth and we’re real happy with the relationship that’s been established.”

Foxboro Cable Access channels became available on Verizon FIOS last week — in one-third the required time under Verizon’s new cable license with the town.
