On Saturday, October 19th, the Personal Best Charity Turkey Trot will bring together over 300 participants at Patriot Place in Foxboro for a morning of fitness, community, and generosity. From 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM, runners and walkers of all ages will come together to raise funds that will provide Thanksgiving meals to more than 2,000 local families in need.
The event features a 100-yard Ranger Run for kids, a 1-mile family walk/run, and a 5K run, all of which will help support over 20 local agencies, including the Joe Andruzzi Foundation, Community Counseling of Bristol County, The Arc of Brockton and Bristol County, Our Daily Bread, My Brother’s Keeper, and many more.
This family-friendly event is a heartwarming opportunity for participants to make a tangible difference in the lives of their neighbors. In addition to the races, participants can look forward to exciting raffle giveaways, generously donated by local businesses such as Shaw’s Supermarket, Intact Insurance, Fit Club of Foxboro, and North Easton Savings Bank.
“The Turkey Trot is more than just a race,” said Clotilde Barker, Chairperson of the Personal Best Charity Turkey Trot. “It’s a chance for our community to come together and make sure no family goes without a meal this Thanksgiving. We’re proud to continue this tradition of giving back.”
