As the intensity and competition among young athletes steadily increases, learning ways to reduce risk of injury will help keep athletes healthy and active.

The Hockomock YMCA, Foxboro Branch is hosting a Sports Injury Prevention Lecture with Dr. William P. Meehan, III, Director of The Micheli Center for Sports Injury Prevention (The Micheli Center). As injuries among young athletes continue to increase, Dr. Meehan will review the latest sports injury prevention research as well as prevention advice specifically on ACL injuries and concussions.

This event is free and open to the public. Athletes, parents and coaches are encouraged to attend.
