Guests can ring in the holidays at Patriot Place with annual tree lighting and festivities at 6 p.m.
Guests can kick off the holiday season at Patriot Place with the shopping, dining and entertainment destination’s annual Holiday Tree Lightning and festivities beginning at 6 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 17.
The festive family favorite will feature a tree lighting countdown followed by a pyrotechnic fireworks display, holiday carolers, photo opportunities, giveaways from the 98.5 The Sports Hub Street Team and appearances from Santa, Mrs. Claus, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, the Gingerbread Man, Pat Patriot and the Patriots cheerleaders. Additionally, for the second year, one lucky guest will take home $500 just in time for their holiday shopping courtesy of Santander Bank. The evening will also include a holiday performance by the 215th Army Band as part of the lead-up to the 2023 Army-Navy Game presented by USAA, which will be played at Gillette Stadium and in New England for the first time ever on Dec. 9, 2023.
Located at the Dean College Stage outside of Bar Louie and Citizen Crust, the Holiday Tree will shine bright all holiday season long for guests to enjoy. In the true spirit of the holidays, Patriot Place, in partnership with Cradles to Crayons, will once again have four Giving Trees surrounding the Holiday Tree. The Giving Trees feature ornaments, with each one containing a special holiday request for a child in need. Patriot Place guests are invited to take an ornament and purchase the assigned gift to fulfill a child’s wish. Gifts can be dropped off throughout the holiday season at the Patriot Place Management Office, located between Skipjack’s and Bar Louie, or at any participating Patriot Place location.
“We look forward to ringing in the start of the holiday season with our guests and their families at the Holiday Tree Lighting on Friday, Nov. 17,” said Diana Griffin, Director of Marketing for Patriot Place. “The true magic of the holidays is making memories with loved ones and sharing in that joy by giving back to others. Each year, the Tree Lighting gives us the chance to do both, bringing us together to celebrate with family and friends, while also giving us the opportunity to give back through our partnership with Cradles to Crayons. We’re excited to kick off the holidays and welcome everyone to Patriot Place on Nov. 17 and all holiday season long.”
Friday, Nov. 17 will also mark the first day of the pro.found Holiday Market, which will bring vintage, artisan, handmade and creative vendors to Patriot Place for the first time for a unique, collaborative holiday shopping experience. The pro.found Holiday Market is ticketed and will be open starting at 4 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 17 through 4 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 19. For more information, visit theprofoundmarket.com/new-events.
